I’m back talking about one of my absolute loves #FatSnacks. Food, grub, la comida, aliments, sustenance, provisions, rations, three hots whatever you call it. Food is very near and dear to my heart as I frequently talk about it on the blog. In particular food with parents gives me the greatest job. This is part III, the final installment of the Miami series. You can catch up here Part I & Part II
I went to Sweet Dogs for the first time earlier this year and it’s an official staple now. Victor wasn’t there but Louis took great care of us.
These nachos are loaded! Crispy Tortilla Chips layered with Smoked Pork, Corn Pico de Gallo and Jalapenos. Smothered in Aged Cheddar Cheese then melted and topped with sour cream and Guacamole.
I found this jewel on Yelp, it was about 2 minutes from our resort and we were short on time. We checked this spot out during our lunch break from SOAR. It was so good we tore it up.
Lightly breaded in toasted Coconut, deep fried to a golden brown, served with Sesame Thai Chili sauce.
We had these along with our nachos.
Our Cobb Salad is savored from Springfield to Sweetwater! Fresh Greens with Grilled Chicken Breast, Chopped Egg, Aged Cheddar Cheese, Diced Tomatoes, Hardwood Smoked Bacon and Gorgonzola served with Ranch Dressing.
It was so good for lunch that we came back that evening for grub and cocktails.
This is the best Sangria I’ve ever had in my life. No surprise that it is award winning, it is red & white combined. DELICIOUSNESS!
A jumbo flour tortilla w/ bed of yellow “Chuchi” rice, three cheeses, sweet plantains and protein of choice. Rolled and flash fried, then topped with fresh pico de gallo, avocado lime sauce and crema Mexicana.
When I saw the food on my Yelp app, MY GOSH! I had to say no more, the girls were all in. I got the most popular thing I saw and I’m so glad I did. It was amazing!
Triple chocolate brownie balls in funnel cake batter, fried to perfection. Served with the side of leche condensada and powdered sugar.
I won’t even tell you all the hilarious immature jokes I had for this dessert. It was a must but OMG one ball is enough to share. You get two balls per order, duh they come in a set. It’s hard to even finish one ball let alone two balls; the dessert is very rich but so dag on good.
I discovered this spot earlier this year as well. Full details HERE
This spot was really empty when we arrived so I was unsure about their quality of food. It meant nothing because the food was delicious. This was two around the corner from the resort.
My cousin enjoyed her meal, her plate was clean when she finished.
I loved the look of this small place. All the chalk writing on the wall made it feel inviting. The decor wasn’t anything fancy but you weren’t at the cafeteria either.
Korean fried chicken wings, house-made napa kimchi & pickle, Thai jasmine rice.”
After some shopping we stumbled upon this place in midtown. Everything we saw looked so damn good, but that kimchi OH EM GEE DO NOT WANT! I tasted it because it came with my order. Oh lord it was a fire in my mouth. They gave out complimentary jasmine tea which I totally loved.
Fried shrimp ssam, house-made napa kimchi & pickle, rice & bibb
My cousin enjoyed her food as well, minus the kimchi.
We came, we saw, we ate. All of my vacations include great food. I’m so happy to have girls that always trust my food judgement. Long live #FatSnacks
