Shaun T Cize Twerkout

Hey Cuties,

Happy freaking Friday! Tuesday I started working out…  I had the most amazing Wednesday ever. OH MY GOSH! I can’t wait to dish on it; if you follow me on social media then you already know what went down. If not SHAME ON YOU BOO! Make that change {FB, IGTwitter} I will go in full on detail and share all the secrets on Wednesday of next week. We are a week out from Valentine’s Day, what do you have on the agenda? Date with #Bae, the girls or the family?

So yeah let’s dish… I started working out, I know I’m just as shocked as you are. Don’t be like the others and say “You are so skinny; you don’t need to work out.” Well my struggle may not look like your struggle but a struggle still exists. HERE is why I must.

The sheer honest truth is I’m the skinny fat girl. You know my affinity for all things #FatSnacks you see all the food I post on here. That isn’t a joke, I’m really putting those meals down. I also plan to continue to put those meals down. In order to do so I’ve got to get my tail up off the sofa. I’ve got to eat a bit better during the week and get some sleep.

This is the fitness plan…

Workout: I’m doing the Cize workout with Shaun T. This is a dance workout, dancing is fun but you sweat and you dance hard. I’m doing the beginner workout and it last for about six weeks. It comes with a calendar and everything to keep you on schedule.

Eating: The Cize DVD set comes with a book that helps your meal planning. I’m not there yet but I will eat some healthier choices.

Drinking: I’ve increased my water intake, my goal is 32 ounces a day. I’ve backed off my Root Beer addiction and now I treat myself to a soda once a week.

Treating: I will still have my #fatsnacks I’m working out so you can’t see the results of my #fatsnacks.

The Cize DVD suggest you take before and after pictures. They also tell you to weigh yourself and take your measurements. Take them, even if you don’t show them to anyone. We are visual and sometimes you might night notice the change in the mirror; try comparison shots in the same outfit so you can see your progress.

Goal: I don’t want to lose any weight, I’m good in that area.  I want to flatten my stomach and get rid of the back fat. The off chance I do get out I want energy to twerk a lil’ bit with the young girls. You know to make sure I still got it. I hear it’s like riding a bike.

Because these crazy pictures aren’t quite enough here is a quick clip of me doing the workout. This aint one of those cute videos, the gut and I were working out. They show you each dance move in sections. You master that then move on to another. After that they put them all together.

What is your work out story, sentence, word, or punctuation? I won’t judge I promise. Look at me showing my gut all out on the interwebs. Please know that I MUST accomplish my goal now, be on the lookout for crop tops all summer. I’m saying if I work hard for it, somebody is going to look at it.

    I like workouts that don’t seem like workouts because I hate working out. Dance workouts are def a favorite. I guess you have motivated me to get to work.

    Skinny fat is indeed a thing! When I say that I want to lose weight/get in shape and people say “but you’re slim” or (the one I hate most) “but you’re so tall…” I wanna punch them in the throat. Looks are deceiving people and these clothes are covering up cellulite, back fat and evidence of far too many #FatSnacks!

      Most people don’t get that skinny fat is a thing. Yes looks are totally deceiving, this clothes work in my favor. lol They don’t tell my truth.

    I really need to get back into exercising. I was doing so well but I like to exercise outside and this cold weather just slowed my routine down.

    Dancing as exercise can be a lot of fun. Good for you for finding something that you know you will enjoy as a form of exercise. By doing that you stand a much better chance of sticking to it instead of finding excuses not to do it, as we all normally do. Good luck! I bet it will not take you long to achieve your goals at all.

    I really need to do more exercise. I’m a healthy weight but I have the Mum tum that won’t go away. Dancing sounds like a fun way to shift it.

      Tori I feel you on the mum tum, I can’t even blame mine on the kids. My stomach went away, but my love for eating #fatsnacks plus age is working against me.

    You are such an inspiration! I have been trying so hard to exercise but keep falling off the wagon because of the nasty cold and flu season. Shaun T kicked my bootie with my Insanity videos–I’m sure he would do the same with Shaun T Cize.

    Girl you are brave. I have my pics but nope not one soul will see them. This workout sounds fun. Shaun T is crazy though so I don’t know. I’ve had a really bad heel spur the last 2 weeks so I have run much less walked. It’s terrible. Think a podiatrist visit is in order at this point. I need to wear almost belly tops too. LOL

      Girl! Yeah, it certainly pushed me outside of my comfort zone. It does force me to be accountable. Umm yeah, you better go see the podiatrist.

    I love lifting weights to tone up everything. Cardio helps me lose but weights help me to get things snatched in the right places. Go hard or go home is my motto.

    Go girl!! I know Shaun T put you through it! I did Hip Hop Abs and after I was done laughing (because I was NOT used to dancing Shaun T but the Insanity one) he put me through a nice workout! Keep up the good work! You can do it!

    Kudos to you & I look forward to seeing your progress! This workout looks so fun, I love dance workouts and used to do them all the time. Thankfully I am getting back into them. My health moto is #CurvesDefined and I have blogged a bit about it but mainly post about it on instagram but I am taking it to a whole new realm this year and adding pilates and yoga, etc because I am fast approaching 50 (in 3 years) and want to greet it in the best mental and physical state possible!

    I KNOW that I need to get my butt off the couch and start moving so I can get back to my good muscles from five years ago. I have Hip Hop Abs and was into it for a while, then got bored.       I wanted Hip Hop Abs but after doing most of the Insanity I was ready to write Shaun T all the way off. Then I saw the informercial for Cize and I was hooked again. I will share my progress on a monthly basis.

    I think I already tried a lot of things in terms of working my body out. Jogging and some at home sit-ups and push ups works well for me now. No weights, just pure cardio and strengthening exercises.

    you are SO brave. I have before photos that I keep on my phone to look at everytime I reach for a #fatsnack. I look at that photo and remind myself that that back fat doesn’t need more ammunition!! I might have to check out this DVD! I’m always looking for FUN ways to loose weight!

    I had not heard of this Shaun T workout. Dancing always makes cardio more fun or less awful, depends on how you look at it.

      Ana, you will have to do it on your own. When I started I wanted someone to do it with. But if they didn’t go, then I didn’t go. So I had to learn to motivate myself.
