I’m Judging You, Are you Judging Me? Do-Better

Hey Cuties, I came back from Key West on a Monday and that Tuesday I had the pleasure of attending Luvvi Ajayi's Book Signing event at the new National Museum of African American History and Culture Museum. It is the latest edition to the Smithsonian Museums in Washington, DC. I was really looking forward to this event because Luvvi had another book signing event while I was still in Key West and I was mad I missed it.

5 Reasons Why Our Cousin’s Trip was Bae

Hey Cuties, I had a nice five-day vacation with my sister and cousins in Key West, Florida. This was our 2nd Cousin's Trip; we had our first Cousin's Trip in Williamsburg, VA back in 2004. Yes, it took us 12 years to get together again. I come from a family of girls, I am one of twelve grand-kids and of that twelve, nine of us are girls. Of that nine, seven of us make up the core grand-kids. By that I mean we are all 35+ and we grew up like sisters. The others are just as important but they are much younger. Can you imagine the hand me down rotation in a family of girls? Items frequently entered and exited a home twice.

#FATSNACKS FRIDAY: Better Than Sex, Key West, FL

Hey Cuties, I went all the way to the southernmost point to bring you some #FatSnacks.  You already know there are levels to this here food game. I plays no games and I'm always thrilled to share my findings/eatings with you my crew. We kept driving past this place while in Key West and had to see what it is about. It did not disappoint. There is nothing obscene in this post but do feel free to tuck your granny panties in. Better Than Sex is a dessert and cocktail type of establishment. They also have another location in Orlando, Florida.

This Boy Grew His Hair, Cut His Hair & Donated His Hair

Hey Cuties, I'm back home from Key West & Miami; I still have unpacking to do and pictures to sort and so we will dish on that later in the week. Instead, I have a story to share with you; one day I'm on social media like always and I come across a dope story about a little boy.  When you see stories, they are just that stories. You don't know the person, and you don't have a connection to the story; you just read maybe share and you keep it pushing. Well, this time, was different. I knew this kid, I knew his parents and have known them for some time.

St. Jude Target House #StJudeBlogTour

Hey Cuties, It is another week upon us and fall officially begins on Thursday. *tosses fall foliage* fall is my favorite season, I love fall fashion, and I turn a year older. It also kicks of the holiday season in my world; yay for nice things. We are still in September and that means it is still Childhood Cancer Awareness Month & Sickle Cell Awareness Month. As your St. Jude Cutie, I'm continuing to spread the word. Today I'm sharing the details of the St. Jude Target House. Do you know that is even a thing? Don't worry; I didn't either until I went for a visit.

On Saturday after the shows Babe and I headed to the BK aka Brooklyn. We checked out the Essence Street Style Block Party, although this is their third years this was my first.  This event always takes place during fashion week. This year 10,000 people came out and celebrated real women with great style.

New York Fashion Week: KYBOE! & Dan Liu

Hey Cuties, I'm back from an incredible weekend. BUCKET LIST CHECK! Babe and I tramped around the bustling streets of New York for three days. The purpose of our trip was to attend a show at Fashion Week. That turned into two shows for me. I didn't want to do too much for my first run out of the gate. I did both shows on Saturday, my first show was at 10AM (Shout out to Lesha) and my other show was at 1PM. They were on opposite sides of town because that is the real experience. I took an Uber-Pool over, that was an experience in and of itself.
