What Kind Of Chocolate Is In Your Easter Basket?

Hey Cuties,

I hope you are going Good Friday, the sun is shining and the weather is nice. In honor of Easter, I’m sharing this cute DIY Chocolate Bunny treat. This treat also featured on my ABC 7/News Channel 8 segment. Who can say no to a chocolate bunny?

My Segment included: A TuTu Easter Basket, Easter Bunny T-Shirt, Jelly Bean Topiary Tree, Easter Mason Jars, and a Chocolate Bunny Treat

Chocolate Melts

I adore chocolate melts because you can do so much with them. You can get them from your local craft store for a couple of bucks. (Take a coupon with you.) Follow the instructions on the bag and pop them in the magazine for 1 minute on cook power 5.

Poured chocolate

You can get a mold for whatever holiday shape you would like. I went with bunnies, because cute.  I got this from the craft store as well. Once I melted my chocolate (3 different colors in total) I poured it into each bunny cavity. Then I place them in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

Bunny!

The chocolate harden relatively quick so you don’t have to wait a long time.  They are hard and ready for the next the phone phase.

All done

Come on now, finish strong. I have my tin and I put fake grass in the bottom. Then I added in a few jelly beans because kids love them.  The tin I selected already came with the bunny puff ball attached.  You can totally make me.

So cute! At first look I thought they were sponges (lol). Love the paint pail as a basket instead of a traditional basket. The candy bunnies look delicious!
