Morning Cuties, This year I'm all about being in charge of my own time. Doing what I want to do and being more intentional with my time. The kids are on spring break and we decided to just stay home this year. Staycations can be a lot of fun if done right; so we decided to spend the day with them doing something they would enjoy. If you are in the DC Area and or a Wizard of Oz fan come close, no closer, like seriously come all the way close.
Hey Cuties, I hope you've sprung forward and started your Sunday on time. Now Monday is here and I will need at least a week to adjust to the time. Despite the time struggle I am happy to have more hours of daylight. Spring break and Easter are only two weeks away. So I will be sharing a couple of Easter/Spring related DIY's.
Happy Leap Day Cuties, Shout out to those born on February 29th, your next turn up is in four years so make today count. Today we are getting ready for Dr. Seuss Day. Wednesday, March 2nd Dr. Seuss Day and everyone is invited to celebrate. Everyone should know who Dr. Seuss is no matter your age. Just in case you just landed on Earth today Theodor Seuss Geisel aka Dr. Seuss was a writer and illustrator known for his popular Dr. Seuss children's books. This day is filled with all things Dr. Seuss and reading, yes Read Across America.
Hey Cuties, How was the weekend? I spent my Saturday running around with Nori. She has quite the social calendar now, how did we get here? She had her first birthday party invite from daycare. It had a nature theme, but she was NOT for touching the animals. I did touch the chinchilla, it was so cute. Other than talking our heads off toddler parenting is chill right now. That older one... yeah well...
Hey Cuties, Today is the last day of Nori week on the blog. I shared five tips I learned about separation anxiety after her brother week on a weeklong field-trip. Then followed that up with her Minnie Mouse Birthday Party. Today we are doing a non-sponsored product review. My new four-year-old lives for un-boxing videos on YouTube. She would spend countless hours watching them if we allowed her to do so. So I allowed her to kind of do one herself. She got a lot of cool gifts for Christmas and we are still un-boxing them so the timing was perfect. She solicited the help of her big cousin and big brother.
Hey Cuties,We are back at the half way point of the week. Did you knock some things of your to do list? Do you have any plans for the three day weekend? Are you volunteering for the day on not a day off for MLK Day? Are you clubbing? Staying inside to fight with the kids since school is closed? What is on the agenda? Yesterday was Nori day, my girl finally turned 4; she has been waiting for a long time. Especially when you don't have a true concept of dates and time. It was a Minnie Annie type of day that went a little something like this...
Hey Cuties,How was your weekend? Did you go from a 60 degree Sunday to a 37 degree Monday? Well we did, and it's downright rude and disrespectful. I went to Philly and I can't wait to share my recap with you. It won't go up until next Monday because this week is Nori week on the blog. She is "My Girl" his "Fats" she is our second and final child and our only girl. She is funny, she is shy, she is bold, she is a lot of things but she will very lovingly give you the side eye of death. She is no stranger to the blog at all. If you follow me on social media then you see the pictures of me tackling her hair each week or her prancing around life in a tutu. She turns four years old tomorrow and she has been counting down since October.
Happy Hump Day! My schedule says we are back at work, but my body hasn't gotten the memo yet. I shared my year in review with you and the reception made me feel like a rock star. Now I want to share my 2016 with you. Buckle up, you know for safety, don't touch the radio but by all means do enjoy these jams. It's a new year but I'm the same Cutie, just turning up on these dreams. I'm sharing them with you because you're my cuties; and you will keep me accountable.
Hey Cuties,We are down to the last day of 2015, Happy New Year! I appreciate you for rocking with me. I hope I've shared something that connected with you one way or another. I read all your comments and I try to reply to each of them. I don't take your time for granted, you could be anywhere in the world but I appreciate that you come here to chat with me. This year has been major in a rather low key kind of way. Sometimes it takes some reflecting to realize just how far you've come. That applies across the board in life, when we are in the thick of things it's hard to realize the how far we've come. 2015 was a year of preparation for me and let me tell you MIMICUTELIPS IS READY HONEY!
