My Babe has dubbed 2013 “Xtreme 13” and I’m proud to say I will be a part of that. I started exercising in 2012 and now I’m ready to kick it up several notches My goal for 2013 is to get fit, I’m kicking the baby off the boob and I’m ready to get all of my body back. I don’t want to drop lbs but I do want to make sure my heart is healthy. I would like a flat stomach though; I don’t need a 6 pack or anything that is for folks that like to show off. I will continue doing Zumba but I want to try Yoga. I’m just waiting on a good Groupon/Living Social/Google Offer deal.
So far we will try hiking in the spring; and indoor scuba diving and the Trapeze school in February. Last year my Babe did a lot of the obstacle course races such as the Warrior Dash, Spartan Race & Tough Mudder. Well this year WE will also do the Run Amuck obstacle race. It is a 3.5 mile competitive time course with obstacles. Yall did see the WE in there right? I’m so not speaking French right now.
JESUS BE AN OXYGEN TANK!!! I’m both excited and nervous, Oh I failed to mention I will be doing this race with my 8 year old son and his pappy. Please understand that my image is on the line. I can’t have my 8 year old talking crazy to me because he finished the race and I couldn’t/didn’t. WHAT! Yall don’t know the type of fellas that live in my house… well some of yall do.
I will admit 24 days into the New Year and my once a week Zumba class when I can get there routine is hardly aerobically effective. I’ve got to get a more aggressive workout routine in place and I guess I need to add some running in here. Lord! I’ve got some super cute workout clothes though. *wink*
