Weekend Recap: Fun, food and fireworks

Fourth of July was upon us and I didn’t have any solid plans on our agenda. I had things I needed to do and wanted to do but none of them were things my family would enjoy.

So we played it by ear…

My son wasn’t exactly a fan of heights and such; his trusty little sister gave him a cuddle and play by play of every movement of the wheel. hahaha

Sunday fun day, the girls and I met up for brunch thanks to a Living Social deal we purchased months ago. I’m on the fence about the experience but whatever.

Post brunch my BFF came over for an impromptu play date for the girls. I’ve wanted to do this canvas painting craft and the day was perfect. The girls are 2 and 4 and they did such a great job. They followed the instructions and didn’t make a mess. I will post a DIY on canvas art this week.
I hope you had a wonder weekend making great memories with your family and friends. I didn’t make it to any cookouts but I did eat well.
