The calendar says December 10th and Christmas is coming. As a parent I have this renewed excitement about the holidays. Christmas in particular is my absolute favorite with the kids. With so much going on in the world I just love to see their innocence. With that being said yall Christmas is coming. Suck it up and find your holiday cheer.
For me that means cleaning out old toys, shopping, pulling items from the attic and decorating with the family. As Mom and Dad we work hard creating the magic that Christmas time brings. We watch the Christmas classics like Rudolph and the Peanuts. We wear footed pajamas and make the house look festive. This is what we do when Christmas is coming.
I know some of you are anti-Santa and want the kids to know that Mom and Dad work hard for their coin. I get it, and mine will too just not while they believe. My ten year old no longer believes, some jerk kid told him otherwise when he was seven. He is a great sport for his sister and he continues the magic for her. So long as she believes we will do the dog and pony show for them both. They already know that Mom and Dad provides for them.
Each year I try to change things up a bit. This year the kids received a complimentary video from Talk to Santa. With a little magic from Mommy Santa sent them a message. He praised them for the great things they do and reminded them to be on their p’s and q’s the rest of the year and into the next. Santa even mentioned a few toys that are on their list. The kids giggled with excitement. They didn’t expect Santa to know so much about them. Now it really feels like Christmas is coming. Check out their video below.
Your children can talk to Santa LIVE via a scheduled video call or Santa can send your child a pre-recorded video. (Like the one above) Click the Talk to Santa link HERE or on the side bar to add to your Christmas magic this year.
This year I ordered the kids Santa sacks, I saw a friend post some online for her kids. They were so cute I had to order some for the kids. I got them from Etsy and the kids loved them. Quiet as kept, I want one too.
I told y’all I love personalized things.
