We are back at it, week 3 of Project 52. This week is all about guilty pleasures. I’m guilty of loving a lot of things and a lot of places. A couple of my constants are Muffins, Ice Cream & Hot Tea.
WEEK 3: GUILTY PLEASURES
Muffins: I won’t tell you the lengths I’ve gone to for my muffins. Just know that my
crazy passion is very real. I’ve tweeted stores and brands about discontinuing the muffins of my dreams. They did put them back in the store nearest to me temporarily. I’ve moved on though and to a store that has a more robust bakery. They do a much better job at stocking my Cinnamon Chip Muffins. I won’t tell you I went last night and they were out so I went again this morning and they still didn’t have any. I won’t tell you that I’m presently on the phone with my Mother and asking her to check the store near her for my muffins. Nope, I wouldn’t dare share such a thing.
Hot Tea: I drink hot tea every day, sometimes two times a day. It is the Thelma (hot tea) to my Louise (muffin), during the work week I hang out with these two gals every single morning. My favorite tea is Honey Vanilla Chamomile and second to that is Green Tea.
I am that girl… when I go places I make sure I have my own tea bags in my purse. YES! Hot water is either free or a couple of coins. No need in paying for tea when I’ve got my own. That other cute little thing beside my cup is my business card holder. That sneaker is a key chain but it’s so fab because well; a sister has a little talent.
ICE CREAM! This is competing for first place for sure. I love me some ice cream, not just any ice cream but Breyer’s Vanilla Bean ice cream. I’m so particular about my ice cream and yes I’ve tweeted about my obsession to the company. I’m that girl! Back to my ice cream I like what I call “no frills” ice cream; I don’t want a bunch of junk on or in it. When it comes to frills chocolate syrup is about it for me.
Ice cream is not only a dessert for Mi, it is sometimes a meal replacement. Don’t judge me monkey! I buy at least two containers at a time. Three bowls and the container is empty. Most of the time I’m the only one in the house that has eaten the ice cream. Not because they didn’t like it, but the early bird gets the worm. When they call for bad weather people are out getting milk bread and eggs and I’m out getting tea, muffins and ice cream.
