Guilty Pleasure #OurProject52

We are back at it, week 3 of Project 52. This week is all about guilty pleasures. I’m guilty of loving a lot of things and a lot of places. A couple of my constants are Muffins, Ice Cream & Hot Tea.

Muffins: I won’t tell you the lengths I’ve gone to for my muffins. Just know that my crazy passion is very real. I’ve tweeted stores and brands about discontinuing the muffins of my dreams. They did put them back in the store nearest to me temporarily. I’ve moved on though and to a store that has a more robust bakery. They do a much better job at stocking my Cinnamon Chip Muffins. I won’t tell you I went last night and they were out so I went again this morning and they still didn’t have any. I won’t tell you that I’m presently on the phone with my Mother and asking her to check the store near her for my muffins. Nope, I wouldn’t dare share such a thing.

guilty pleasures

Hot Tea: I drink hot tea every day, sometimes two times a day. It is the Thelma (hot tea) to my Louise (muffin), during the work week I hang out with these two gals every single morning. My favorite tea is Honey Vanilla Chamomile and second to that is Green Tea.

guilty pleasures

I am that girl… when I go places I make sure I have my own tea bags in my purse. YES! Hot water is either free or a couple of coins. No need in paying for tea when I’ve got my own. That other cute little thing beside my cup is my business card holder. That sneaker is a key chain but it’s so fab because well; a sister has a little talent.

guilty pleasures

ICE CREAM! This is competing for first place for sure. I love me some ice cream, not just any ice cream but Breyer’s Vanilla Bean ice cream. I’m so particular about my ice cream and yes I’ve tweeted about my obsession to the company. I’m that girl! Back to my ice cream I like what I call “no frills” ice cream; I don’t want a bunch of junk on or in it. When it comes to frills chocolate syrup is about it for me.

  guilty pleasures

Ice cream is not only a dessert for Mi, it is sometimes a meal replacement. Don’t judge me monkey! I buy at least two containers at a time. Three bowls and the container is empty. Most of the time I’m the only one in the house that has eaten the ice cream. Not because they didn’t like it, but the early bird gets the worm. When they call for bad weather people are out getting milk bread and eggs and I’m out getting tea, muffins and ice cream.

My guilty pleasures are ratchet tv & my heated blanket Linus! I may need to join this Project 52.

    • MimiCuteLips

Ha, I got my sister a heated blanket a couple years ago. It is her guilty pleasure too, I feel like I’m missing out. WE would love to have you joint Project 52.

  5. Tia

Yes! I love a nice cup of tea with a snack. I’ve been loving Blue Bell ice cream lately too!

    • MimiCuteLips

I’ve not had Blue Bell ice cream but I know the people in the South in particular rave about it. I feel like its some secret society.

  6. GinaB

I loooove Honey Vanilla Chamomile tea. Isn’t crazy, oops, passion the spice of life?!

  7. Christine @MomsNCharge

Ha! Oh you won’t get any judgement from me cause I like all of the above (not as big on tea but I will be checking out that vanilla chamomile situation). I go crazy for Panera’s pumpkin muffin and I won’t say how they haven’t had any the last two times I went. Guess it’s time for me to tweet them again. Oh and ice cream is an absolute must for me. My favorite is Edy’s slow churned vanilla/caramel ice cream 🙂

    • MimiCuteLips

Girl tweeting gets results for sure. I might have to check out Panera, I’ve not had their muffins. I like Edy’s but I’ve not had the slow churned.

  8. Holly

First off I love that mug. I saw a Mickey one like that! I should have bought it! I collect Mickey mugs lol. I had to get that out. I have to agree with another commenter. My guilty pleasure is ratchet tv as well lol

  9. Nadeen

i love all of the above! I drink hot tea everyday in winter a few times a day and baked goods and ice cream are my weaknesses. And chocolate lol. I wanted to do this challenge! Just can’t keep up Already! Lol

    • MimiCuteLips

lol @ Nadeen, Its a challenge for me to keep up. hahahaha So I fee you, it is a lot of fun though and allows my readers to get to know me in a different way.

  10. Khloé Gee

I have never been able to get into tea. Only when I’m sick…..
But coffee, that’s just another story! As a matter of fact, I want some right now!

    Thanks for sharing!

  11. Adanna

This post cracked me up but I totally feel you. I’m so terrible with cookies they call me Cookie Monster. Sometimes I have to stop myself from eating them while the cashier rings them up lol I love ice cream too 🙂

  12. Crystal

Yes to the Breyer’s Vanilla Bean ice cream! I looooovvveeeee it! I can remember as a child, my grandmother used to eat her vanilla ice cream with a slice of bread. I never tried it, but she was a fan of it!

  13. Sonya

I love hot tea. I have some Coconut Chia Black Tea brewing right now. I once also loved muffins, but my body doesn’t like gluten or eggs. So it’s a little hard to make a really good muffin withing using a ton of very ripe bananas. In my house it’s hard for the bananas to hang around to the point of being ripe, because it’s my husband’s favorite fruit. However, when I see some ripe bananas discounted at Kroger I always pick some up. But that’s not very often. So I haven’t made muffins in a long time 🙁

  14. LaShawn

There is absolutely NOTHING like one of those oversized Blueberry muffins with the steusel on the top!

  15. Mimi

Tea bags in your purse! You are serious! I do love tea and I have been trying to move toward it more than coffee. Somebody suggested I try black tea if it’s the caffeine I need. I think I’ll try it.

I think I am the only one not smitten with ice cream. I prefer frozen yogurt or sorbet, but if I am going in it has to be Breyers…and when it is on sale because it can get costly at regular price!

    • MimiCuteLips

I was a lover of cold tea before I got into hot tea. My teas don’t have caffeine, they are soothing but they don’t give you any jolts in the energy department. lol

OH EM GEE! The price of Breyer’s is out of this world, buying it is a total hustle just for the price alone. So far when its not on sale Target has the best price.
