Disney Cinderella Special Screening

My girl and I were invited to a Special Screening of Cinderella on Saturday.  I told Nori about the event in advance and she was really excited. All she knows is she watches Disney Jr. all the time. The invitation encouraged the children to dress up as their favorite Disney character.  If you know me, then you know my creative  wheels were in full motion.

Nori loves Minnie Mouse and we already had several pieces to pull off the look. The only thing we needed was a top and after five minutes of craft work that was no longer an issue.

Minnie Ears Headband: I got from Disney in 2010 Necklace: She owned Shirt: She owned but I added the Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse stencil to it. Tutu: Her Aunt made it for her about a year ago. Pants: Black skinny jeans she already owned. Boots: Owned already

Nori was the only Minnie at the event and she got tons of compliments. My shy girl is becoming a bit more social. She smiled, said Thank You and skipped around. This is major for us, okay back to Cinderella.

The invitation mentioned a “Royal” welcome. I had no idea what that would entail, but it was the funniest yet cutest thing ever. This fancy guy here was our “royal welcome” as each family arrived he would announce you.

When Nori and I arrive he said something like NOW WELCOMING THE GREEN FAMILY OF BELL AIR AND THEIR ROYAL PRINCESS. Nori and I would giggle like school girls every time they announced someone. They did that for every family that attended the event.  I wish to be announced is this manner every time I enter a room hence forth.

We started with breakfast, Nori ate fruit and drank orange juice; this muffin was a fraud.

Disney Cinderella 2

After breakfast we grabbed our complimentary beverage and popcorn and headed to the theater. Prior to Cinderella they showed us a clip of Frozen Coolest Summer Ever. If you ask my daughter about the day this is all she would mention. At three animation is key to capture her attention.

I really enjoyed Cinderella, the costumes were beautiful. I want to get in a big huge ball gown with nowhere to go just because they were simply gorgeous. The young lady that plays Cinderella {Lily James} is stunning, they did an excellent job in casting her for this role. Cate Blanchett was the Stepmother, and she was so good I wanted to punch her in the face. Her attire was so rich and fab for someone who was so dag on mean. The Prince {Richard Madden} had these piercing blue eyes and a Hollywood smile. Every time he was on the screen it was all I focus on and that so isn’t my type.

Disney Cinderella 3

After the movie Minnie Mouse had a photo-op in front of Cinderella’s carriage.

Disney Cinderella 5

This glass slipper was a beauty. I think it would fit me perfectly.

Disney Cinderella 8

We had to snap a selfie/usie before we left home. I got a little festive for the event as well.

Disney Cinderella 6

So sassy!

I heard Cinderella topped the box office, did you see it?

Awwww… How absolutely beautiful! Yes, my little two girls I promised to take them. I literally had to hide them from seeing this post on the computer because they would be all inside the computer screen for hours if they would have seen this. LOL. I must admit, I do also want to see the Cinderella movie too!! Teehehe… Thanks so much for sharing this! I am getting so much more excited to get myself and two bear cubs ready to view.
