Family #OurProject52

This week’s theme for Project 52 was the Photographer’s Choice.  Like always I was unsure how I would capture it; I thought about a few things but nothing stuck with me. I went to the dentist yesterday and after having half of my face numb for several hours I had zero ideas or creativity.  Today my face was back to normal and I was able to come up with something.

Week 12: Photographer’s Choice {Family}

What better way to share my hearts/headaches with you then to show you a day in the life of this crazy family I’ve created. If you follow me on Instagram then you know how we get down. If not you totally should, but welcome to our show.

The temps hit 70+ yesterday and Nori was cuddled in a chair watching Sprout on her tablet. The chair is there to make sure she doesn’t go to close to the window. Her brother is outside the window. Helping Dad with a little house work.

My Babe always has a list of things to do. Today it was cleaning the exhaust fan. He was pushing stuff out the vent and Nasir was making sure it came out the vent outside. lol Teamwork!

After helping Dad it was back to the never ending homework of a fifth grader. I was helping him out while cooking.

Such a sweet look into your lives. Just love moments like these.

    • MimiCuteLips

Thanks, with social media its easy to get caught up in the “perfect image”. I like to share the real and that means everyday isn’t balloons and glitter. Even if I wish it was.

  2. Uplifting Families

You have a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing.

  3. Liz G.

Definitely trying this out! so inspiring!:)

  4. Sony

Great family photos!!! How sweet that your son is helping out your hubby out with some home maintenance.

    • MimiCuteLips

Thanks Sony, we started him early. He should be rather handy once he gets older. I love that they get dirty and do “man stuff”. Our young guys these days aren’t very handy.

  5. Tia

You have a cute family. Fried chicken wings are a fave around here too. I’ll have to join your party on instagram!

  6. Kara

Your family is so precious! Chicken is always on the menu here as well lol

  7. Daenel T.

How sweet. I love the peek into your life with your family. And ouch to the dental work.

  8. Mimi

My husband has my son out there putting in work as well. Teach them young!!

    • MimiCuteLips

Yes Mimi! They need to learn as soon as possible. This generation isn’t so great with their hands like our men and fathers were.

  9. Christine @MomsNCharge

I love it! Your fam is the cutest. It’s always great to get a sneak peek into how my blogger buddies tackle life on a daily basis 😉

    • MimiCuteLips

Thanks Christine, it makes us realize we are all the same at the end of the day. Crazy kids, chores, dinner and homework.

Your family is so adorable. The idea of putting a chair next to the window is such an awesome safety measure. I’m loving the photography project.

  11. Adanna

This is super sweet! My son loves his Sprout too. I love that you captured the sweet daddy-son team work. One day they’ll look back at the pic and it will make them both very happy.
