What up Cuties?
What’s good with you? I’ve been enjoying vacation with the family. By enjoying I mean listening to the kids fight more than usual. Listening to them tell me they are hungry 100 times a day instead of their normal 50. Oh and my favorite where are we going today question; you know the usual. I kicked off our “family” vacation with a trip to New York without the family. Makes sense right? A couple weeks back I mentioned I was going to travel alone for the first time. Well that sort of kind of still happened.
Amtrak got me there safe and in one piece. I had good comfort on the ride in.
A couple days before I left my cousin decided to join me. I was excited because I had invited her a few months ago. With this last minute decision she took the bus up while I was on the train. Despite our different modes of transportation we arrived at the exact same time. Although nothing went wrong on our journeys, I really wish I had known about this private jet charter price estimator because it turns out that private planes are not as expensive as you might think. It would have nice to have settled back and arrived in style but this may have been a bit extravagant for my first trip on my own. In fact, this was the first time either of us had traveled alone. But we had done our research and proper planning (I suggest you visit this site if you are currently planning a solo trip) and we felt ready. This was a great first step in the world of solo travel.
We never come to New York to shop but we always end up shopping.
Normally I love, but this time it was a bit dry.
Headed to meet my BLM Girls at the NYC Meet Up.
I’ve know this cutie pie since we were kids; I’ve not seen her since then. She is in NYC doing her thing in the makeup industry. We showed up with our nude face, bold red lips, white tee and blue cross-body bag. We cute! #BLMGIRLS
We arrived at 11ish/12ish – This place is open 24/7 I had Chicken & Waffles while I was in Atlanta and they were amazing. These had a different taste but they were equally amazing.
I was beyond sleepy, but food this good wakes you all the way up. This was so good I brought the leftovers back home to DC. Whatever!
I purchased this dress the day before I left for NYC. It was so comfy and so cute. Those cut outs were just right.
I saw some fellow Bloggers posting food from this place. A quick look up on Yelp had us there in a few minutes.
This was fluffy goodness in your mouth. My french toast is hiding my strawberries.
This was the perfect pairing to my French toast. I took the bacon to go.
This right here is the entire Royal Family of #FatSnacks this place is small but we all know great things come in small packages. They have four seats on the inside and four on the outside. It won’t matter because you will only care about the amazing goodness you’ve ordered.
The best thing about this place is you can make it YOUR WAY!
the classic man
If you aren’t sure how to make your dreams come true in this magical place of wonderment then this tutorial is for you. Me, I’m a quick study.
If you aren’t the donut type then these ice cream cones might do it for you.
This trip was just what I needed and the food was amazing as always. I’m already planning the next trip.
