Poppy Cat: Making Everyday Adventures Extraordinary #PoppyCatUS

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Coolabi. All opinions are my own, don’t worry I shan’t tell a lie.

Calling all Creative Cuties,

This is a cute one for you; your girl is a member of the Poppy Cat Blogger Network. Cute right? For those wondering who and what is a Poppy Cat let me hip you to some quick game.  Poppy Cat is a cute and colorful adventure-filled preschool series on Netflix and Sprout.  The show is based on the international award-winning books by British author Lara Jones.

As MommyCuteLips I love this series because they encourage preschoolers to use their imaginations to solve problems and discover the world around them.  If you follow me on IG then you know my girl is ALL about imaginative play and discovering the world around her.  I’ve posted pictures of the kids making forts and such all around the house; we currently have a big fish tent up in our living room. Poppy Cat is all about making everyday adventures extraordinary and that is a theme in my home. Babe and I indulge in this type of behavior with and without the kids. I suppose they got it honest.

This was an easy one for me because Nori is a fan of all things Sprout and now Netflix Kids. We’ve had Netflix for almost two months now and she has been enjoying it. No more complaining about her show not being on. Thanks Netflix, no more watching the same episode a million times. hahaha

Naturally I’m a creative so I encourage my girl to use her imagination. Tutu’s are always a hit and you can catch her in one at any time.

This is how our weekend went down. Hope your Monday is sweet! 💋 #mimicutelips

One day Nori decided she wanted to be a superhero. Well she didn’t have a cape so MommyCuteLips had to make her one. Make a superhero cape for your little Cutie HERE.

I craft a lot and I encourage my kids to do the crafts with me. Some days they craft without me. Certainly you should sit inside of an empty bucket and play with stickers and color. Our visions don’t always line up and that is okay.

HERE  is a great craft to do with your kids. Allow them to use their imagination, let me paint whatever they want. Then hang it in their room and see how proud they are of their one of a kind piece created by them. Just like Poppy Cat.

Thanks Ann, she comes up with some really creative outfits. I too love Netflix the options are so wide, there is something for everyone.

  20. Britni

I love good programs like this for kids. And even better when they are available on Netflix. We are a little to old for this but I will pass it along to my sister. I bet my nephew would love to watch it.

  21. Chrystal | Nevermore Lane

Oh my gosh! These photos are just too stinking cute. I think when kiddo was younger she would have loved Poppy Cat.

  22. Uplifting Families

I’ll have to see if my son would be interested in it. We had to tame the Power Ranger binge after he wanted to “pretend fight”. Plus, we would rather him watch educational stuff.

  23. lisa

My girls all loved Sprout when they were little. I still like to support their creative ideas by having paint days and letting them wear whatever they think looks good!

  24. Betsy @ Happily Ever After, Etc.

I love any show that encourages kiddos to be creative!! Such an important part of growing a little ones imagination and creativity! Plus I’m guessing there’s a cat?

  25. Tiany - Social Savvy Mom

First of all, I love Netflix and I love how accessible this game is! My kids might be too young for it still but it looks like fun!

  28. Chantal

Netflix is wonderful for bringing new adventures and education to childrens lives!

  29. kita

Awww I miss the days when my little one watched cartoons she is 6 and watches big girl shows she said she is to big for cartoons…whatever. I will however take her painting that would be nice to do for Christmas in lieu of so many gifts this year. I prefer to create things

    • MimiCuteLips

Oh Kita, I felt this way about my 10 year old son. I missed the sweet kid shows. I’m not a fan of the big kid cartoons at all.

Painting is a great way to bond and create memories.

  30. LaChaya

Awww so cute! I love imaginative play. My daughters have the most fun when they can just play freely and just make it all up as they go along. My youngest also loves Poppy Cat, especially when my oldest ins’t hogging the television.

    • MimiCuteLips

Ha, my oldest tries to hog the TV as well. I love to over hear their imaginative play because you learn so much about them. You get to hear what they think of your parenting by the way they act out on their dolls.

  31. Bree

I love this! I nanny for a 3 year old and I think her parents would approve of this wonderful show since there is hands on engagement. 🙂

  32. AC

This is so adorable and it looks like she is really enjoying herself. So can I get a cape too?

  33. LaKisha

Adore the paintings. This is a fun idea. Love the post!

  34. Tiki

This is super cute. I miss my girls being that little but Netflix was a life save even when they were younger. Now I have cranky old women. lol

  35. Karneisha

My daughter is 5 and super creative, she’s all into the Disney Jr shows but I might be able to get her to watch this too!

You are such the creative crafter mom and I loves it, and am here for all of it!!! I will definitely have to look into the Poppy Cat series because my kids absolutely love Netflix kids 🙂

  37. Tyra
