DIY Monster Halloween Costume

Happy Halloween Cuties,

I hope you and the little Cuties have decided on a costume and you all are just waiting for it to get dark. I'm sharing my Monster DIY Halloween costume with you as promised. If you saw my last post on the DIY Clown Costume then you saw this one featured in the news segment. This one is probably the easiest of them all. There is no template and no wrong way to create your Monster. As always my costumes have a sew and no sew options.

SOAR Retreat Recap

Hey Cuties,

I'm taking a break from my Halloween talk; to share the #SOARRetreat with you. The Retreat took place Oct. 16-18 at the Trump National Doral Resort in Miami, Florida. The weather was pretty decent, the venue was stunning and the speakers were really inspiring. I have implemented some things that I've learned already but I still have a lot more work to do.

DIY Clown Halloween Costume {WBALTV 11}

Hey Cuties,

I hope you had a dope weekend. Mine was busy but a lot of fun. We did a Trick or Treat event at the National Harbor with the littlest Cutie on Saturday followed by a Halloween Housewarming. On Sunday I graced the studio of WBALTV in Baltimore, MD. My segment was on *drum roll* DIY Halloween Costumes.  I had a blast, I need to get my face on TV more often, I felt right at home.

DIY Wolf Halloween Costume

Hey Cuties,

Halloween is around the corner and I've been working on DIY Halloween costumes for the kids. I'm making the girl child a clown costume and Lambie from Doc McStuffins costume. This Wolf costume is for the male child. I'm also making a Monster costume for a news segment I'm participating in. I've made them really easy for you to follow and I give you a sew and no sew option. No creative skills required and they cost less than $15.00 to make but look like you spent much more than that. I will post them all before Halloween.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner Selfless, #BlackLivesMatter & The Cosby Show

Hey Cuties,

I'm fresh off of my 36th Birthday {Sunday}, I spent the past five days in beautiful Miami at the Steve Harvey, SOAR Retreat. I am fired up and working double time to reach my dreams. Today I participated in a Huff Post Live interview with none other than Malcolm-Jamal Warner {Whispers: Theo from The Cosby Show.}  In case you didn't know he is an actor and musician. Malcolm-Jamal stops by Huff Post Live to discuss his third album, "Selfless," and his role in the upcoming miniseries, "The People vs. OJ Simpson.”

What you need to know about Breast Cancer, BRCA Testing & BREVAGenplus®

Hey Cuties, I hope your October is going well, we are half way into it now. I'm counting down to my 36th birthday, four days to go.  I'm counting down to the SOAR Retreat, leaving tomorrow morning.  I'm working on our Halloween costumes and everything. I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Russell Stankiewicz, MD about breast cancer, what we need to know, what we need to do and I wanted to share that with you. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and my mother and mother-in-law are both survivors. This is a big deal in our family and for our own health.

Graham Cracker Pudding Cups

Hey Cuties,

I have a fun little snack to share with you. Nothing fancy, nothing sponsored just my love and adoration for #FatSnacks. This is a great treat for you and the girls or you and the family. It is really quick and easy and you can totally allow people to think you were slaving in the kitchen for hours. I strolled past the ready-made Graham crust and I had to try them.  I wasn't sure what I was going to make with them but I purchased them and let the idea come later.

MimiCuteLips Tee Shop

Hey Cuties,

I've been sitting on this project and now I'm finally ready to share it with you. I'm a t-shirt and Chuck Taylor person to my core. If you've ever met me I probably had those two items on. I love to dress them up with a pencil skirt or chill it on out with a pair of jeans. I created a shop that incorporates two of my favorite things and some of my favorite sayings. I just wanted to create a few designs and then my creativity got the best of me. So I just ran with it and this is what I've come up with. ALL shirts are printed on American Apparel.
