Hey Cuties,How was your weekend? Did you stay in and relax or go out and do something fun? I got up early Saturday morning and headed to WBFF Fox 45 studios in Baltimore. It was a lot of fun, I talked about easy DIY Treats for the holiday season. After that The Style Medic and I kept North and headed to New York; more on that later this week.
Hey Cuties,I'm in full on Holiday mode. I'm talking shopping; crafting and I plan to decorate this weekend. I came up with a fun craft to do with the kids to kick off our official holiday season. This is a fun one to do with the kids, you can give it as a gift or you can use it for table decor. I mean what is Christmas without some kisses? Plus #FatSnacks, you already know.
Hey Cuties,Did you have a good Thanksgiving? Did you cook or host? I didn't do either I decided to just be a guest; it's the best position to be in unless you like to cook. Did you Black Friday shop or Small Biz Saturday? We did some shopping for the kids Friday evening. Nothing major, we never have any big ticket, must have items.
Hey Cuties,It is Thanksgiving Eve, is that even a thing? Do you have collards soaking in the sink? Is your bird in the fridge marinating in eleven herbs and spices? My Thanksgiving preparation is different than most I'm sure. I like to refer myself as a new age gal with a twist. I do cook, because duh I have a family. However I'm not a gourmet cook or anything like that but I likes to eat. #FatSnacks. Last year I tried my hand at preparing my first Thanksgiving meal and it was a hit. Now that I've crossed that item off my bucket list its back to bringing the beverages and flatware. This year we're just showing up.
Hey Cuties,The weekend is upon us; I imagine you are gearing up for the Thanksgiving holiday. Have you planned out your menu? If you aren’t cooking have you decided on your travel arrangements? The kids only have school two days next week. That in and of itself means I need to prepare my nerves. All this extended parent and kid time can be exhausting for all of us. To kick off the holiday season we hung out with the folks at Macy’s last weekend.
Hey Cuties,Today is hump day and that means we can see the weekend right over our shoulders. My son turned 11 yesterday and we did a little small celebration for him. He is a far cry from the baby boy I brought home from the hospital. He is in the midst of a major growth spurt and my pockets can't seem to keep up. He is almost as tall as me, his foot size has surpassed mine and his sixth grade homework is more that I can handle. WHY IS HOMEWORK SO COMPLICATED!
How was the weekend? Mine was pretty good, we spent Saturday getting in the holiday mood with Macy's. Sunday I spent the day shopping for my kids that won't stop growing. No seriously, my son turns 11 tomorrow and he just isn't my little boy anymore. The girl child is supposed to be three but she is more like sixty-three.
Hey Cuties,I hope you had a productive week, if you are a Veteran than I thank you for your service. We are headed into the holiday season and for most of us that equals, food, family and friends. For others that means taking care of their loved ones that aren't able to take care of themselves.
Hey Cuties,I'm back talking about one of my absolute loves #FatSnacks. Food, grub, la comida, aliments, sustenance, provisions, rations, three hots whatever you call it. Food is very near and dear to my heart as I frequently talk about it on the blog. In particular food with parents gives me the greatest job. This is part III, the final installment of the Miami series. You can catch up here Part I & Part II
