Cool Baker Magic Mixer Maker Review

Hey Cuties,

Today is the last day of Nori week on the blog. I shared five tips I learned about separation anxiety after her brother week on a weeklong field-trip. Then followed that up with her Minnie Mouse Birthday Party.  Today we are doing a non-sponsored product review. My new four-year-old lives for un-boxing videos on YouTube. She would spend countless hours watching them if we allowed her to do so. So I allowed her to kind of do one herself. She got a lot of cool gifts for Christmas and we are still un-boxing them so the timing was perfect. She solicited the help of her big cousin and big brother.

Let me just say this mixer makes no bake cupcakes and brownies. {side eye} There is no actual baking taking place, this is more like faking…

She was so serious about pouring the mix into the bowl.

I took a hands off approach and I allowed My Girl and my ten-year-old niece run the show.

Adding in water…

This was easy to put together but it isn’t electric at all.

all mixed up…

The brownie mix is all mixed up and ready to go into the bowl.

flattening it out…

Per the box instructions they put it in the fridge for the required amount of time. {It wasn’t very long}

Taste testing…

It came with icing you also make but that didn’t work out so hot.

They say if you want an honest opinion then ask a child…. Here goes! I

I always wanted one of these when I was a kid. The kid in me still wants it LOL! They are so cute making this dessert!

  2. travel blogger

This reminds me of when I had an easy bake oven when I was a kid. My niece would love this!

  3. Sicorra@NotNowMomsBusy

Oh my, I love that mixer. The way the girls worked together is super cute, and her apron is adorable as well. Love it.

  4. Annemarie LeBlanc

Awesome! I love that this would make a child interested in cooking and enjoying food they actually made themselves. Thank you for the review!

  5. Miles L.

This is a way to stimulate the interests of kids in baking. I’d love to have this for any kid.

  6. Maggie Branch

This looks like a very interactive and fun activity for any child! I hope my kids learn to love creating in the kitchen!

  7. Michele D

My daughter loves to cook with me. Actually even my boys do too. We’ve seen this in the store just the other day. My daughter wants it for her upcoming birthday.

  8. Erica Brooks

That looks like a fun little set. I wanted to share Easy Bake Oven with my daughter since that’s what I grew up on but she enjoys baking in the real oven instead.

  9. HilLesha

That is simply adorable! I know that my daughter would enjoy something like this, too.I may have to get something like this for her next birthday. 🙂

  10. Lynndee

Oh my, that is just the cutest mixer ever. I would love for my niece to have that. She’d be over the moon! 🙂

  11. OurFamilyWorld

What a cute toy. I want to get his for my twin granddaughters. They will love this.

  12. Chubskulit Rose

There’s nothing more fun when kids wants to ecplore in the kitchen. This looks so much fun to do with the siblings.

  13. Kiwi

Your son is hilarious! He said he would only eat it again if it was the only option for dessert!! Im crying I love the honesty of kids and Nori is so cute for her little review!

  14. Ann Bacciaglia

When my Daughter was little she loved making things with her Easy Bake Oven. This looks like it would be perfect for my friends little girl. I wil have to share this with her.

  15. Crystal Lopez

She looks like she had so much fun! I love cooking toys for kids and they really love getting some hands on fun with them!

  16. ricci

This looks like FUN!! I have a niece who loves to “bake” and this would be the perfect gift for her!!

  17. Ty

How cute! The look on their faces as they ate them but they weren’t as good as mommies! LOL!!

  18. Kemkem

Oh wow! I never had an idea that things made from the child baking things were edible !!! :-). That’s awesome. She is so cute. What a great activity for kids.

  19. Jacqueline

This brings me back to the Easy Bake Oven days of my childhood, except I never had a mixer or anything this cool! I like this better in a lot of ways because there is no way for my niece (our family baker) to burn herself! I love that it just goes in the fridge. Cold dessert seems like a safer activity!

Although the kids did not fall in love with the brownies (and thought yours were better), it looks like they had a fun time doing the project together. It also seems like a great way to get kids interested in cooking!

  21. Rebecca Swenor

This looks like a lot of fun any girl. They look so cute working together. Got to admit that my sister had an Easy Bake Oven when we were little. I had boys so they never got anything like this they just helped me in the kitchen when I would bake. My youngest who is in college still like to bake goodies.

  22. kita

I am not buying it for my daughter can you say mess…..goodness lol. I do love it though they have fun with those things

  23. Chasing Joy (Arlett) (@Chasing_Joy)

Cute video. Kids are indeed honest. It does not sound like this will be any competition for Easy Bake Oven, but maybe a cool mixer to help mom make the good brownies.

  24. Jamila

This is too cute, you can always count on kids to give an honest opinion. I’m from the easy back oven era, lol I use to think I was doing something when I baked a little cake.

  25. Stacie

Your daughter is too cute! I remember playing with my easy bake oven. Toys have gotten all advanced now.

  26. Valerie Robinson

This is both super cute and educational! Kids really respond well to hands-on activities. I love the ideas you come up with!

  27. Jonna

Cracking up at this review. They kept it all the way real LOL

  28. Antoinette

Fun times. My daughter loves to bake and received a cake pop maker for Christmas (she’s 14). She wasted no time in putting it to use.

  29. Joyce Brewer (@MommyTalkShow)

If I’d cooked more real food when I was younger, I think I’d be a better cook and make healthier choices.
Our son loves cooking with our son and pretending in his toy kitchen. It’s great for their imaginations.

    • MimiCuteLips

Oh Joyce, that might be my story as well. I didn’t cook as a child and I have no love for cooking as an adult.

I’m going to foster this more with my daughter. I hope she has a different outlook on cooking than I do.

  30. Shannon Gurnee

Oh my gosh – that looks like so much fun! I bet my niece would love that.

  31. Dateisover

This was too cute! I thought about getting this for my nieces, but I’m biased towards the easy bake oven. Decisions decisions. lol
