LittleCuteLips and I kicked off Easter a bit early thanks to the dope folks at Fair Oaks Mall. I told her we were going to Bunnyville and gave her no other details. What she didn’t know was Fair Oaks Mall invited us to a fun filled morning that included a big surprise. With kids seeing is believing so need for specifications. Plus my nerves…
We went for a comfy cute type of look. LittleCuteLips wore a festival floral sweatshirt paired with black pants, black Mary Jane’s and stripped black and white socks. I rocked the fly Mommy look with a white button up shirt, a long gray vest and my beaded boyfriend jeans.
We met up at KONA Grill for a festive breakfast. They were ready to keep the kids busy with a fun craft waiting for them on the table. LittleCuteLips and I both had fun playing with the Wikki Stix.
We’d never heard of these before but they were a lot of fun. They are a little waxy and sticky so you can bend them any way you’d like. Not sticky that your hands are gross but just enough to create silly dog faces like this.
Breakfast began shortly and they pulled out all of their creative juices. I’m sure it was meant to wow the kids but the adults were wowed as well. How cute are these orange bears? They were equally delicious as they were cute.
We also dined on bacon, eggs, potatoes, sausage, parfaits and more. They had cute bento boxes for the kids to eat out of. After our delicious grub we had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny. While some kids were thrilled LittleCuteLips was not. Although she knows it is just a person in a costume she isn’t exactly about that life. No pressure.
We came to potty, but stayed for a dance break and a photo-op. After leaving out I had a chance to see Fatima and her family from Off the Potomac and Maria of Very Busy Mama and her girls, I hadn’t seen Maria since baby #3.
We chatted as we took the kids down to Bunnyville. It was a bit of Mommy rush hour so the kids played and we did a fun Facebook Live video on Maria’s page while in line. Her baby girl and I are new besties; tell all of your friends. ☺️
The kids were excited and it was cute to see their expressions coupled with a bit of jumping up and down.
All of the walls in Bunnyville are bold and vibrant in color. Each one has its own thing going on. This was a really cute bakery store front.
LittleCuteLips and I giggled at the silly flavors: Jelly Bean Supreme, Bunny Banaza, Lettuce Swirl, and Carrot Crunch
The kids picked out all the details of each part of Bunnyville and laughed until they couldn’t laugh anymore.
There is no Bunnyville without Mr. Bunny.
The kids took turns playing with this one, by took turns I mean fussed over whose turn it is.
Our visit included complimentary photos with the Easter Bunny. LittleCuteLips and I took them together and I sat next to the Easter Bunny as a buffer. She was fine with that, but decided to face her fears and take a picture on her own. Okay big girl! This is the first time either of my kids have taken pictures with the Easter Bunny. We’ve also never done Santa either.
