I had a fab night out on the town with my girls at the Power Season 4 Red Carpet and Screening event. If you aren’t familiar (you should be) Power it a hit show on STARZ. “James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a wealthy New York night club owner who has it all, catering for the city’s elite and dreaming big, lives a double life as a drug kingpin.” This show has action, suspense, love triangles, hot men and gorgeous women.
I wore a black pencil skirt (Target) and a lip crop top (H&M). I’ve had this top for years but never wore it.
DC’s elite came out to the Newseum in Washington DC to see their favorite cast members of the hit show Power.
The super duper fine Omari Hardwick was in the building. Heartbeats were beating triple times.
The first lady of Power, Naturi Naughton hit the red carpet in full mommy glow.
Our favorite lady to love and hate on the show also hit the carpet. Her character is really doing the absolute most this season.
My favorite white guy on the planet hit the carpet. Joseph’s character is a fan favorite, you cheer him on and fuss at him at the same damn time. No matter what though you love him the same. He was equally dope and a lot of fun on the red carpet. Fun Fact: He was in Season 2 Episode 7 of Grey’s Anatomy way back in 2005.
Rotimi hit the carpet in this dope suit. He definitely had his style game on one thousand. He is still fairly new to the Hollywood game but he is on a quick rise. I wonder if his character Dre will really step up to the plate in season 4. Will he get his chance to be the Ghost’s right-hand man or not?
When LaLa Anthony hit the carpet she did not come to play. All I heard was Klymaxx “the men all pause when I walked into the room…”. I didn’t obviously but it would have been the perfect theme music. While I wouldn’t wear this she pulled it off effortlessly.
Our beloved Darius Lovehall from Love Jones is joining the cast of Power this season. That is right ladies, the sexy factor has increased this season with Larenz Tate. I can’t wait to see what he will bring to the story line.
Just know that this woman is pure black girl magic, magic I tell you. She is the producer of Power.
50 Cent hit the red carpet but didn’t do any interviews.
After the dope red carpet event, we moved into the theater and watched the first episode of season 4 with the cast and director. SO DOPE! After the screening, we turned all the way up. They turned the lobby of the Newseum into a club and we got our party on with the cast. Good time for sure.
Power Season 4 premieres Sunday, June 25th 9:00 PM on STARZ.
You can watch on the STAZ app at 12:01 AM on June 25th.
