DIY Halloween Costume Roundup

We are one day out from Halloween and I would like to think you and or your little have already decided on the perfect costume.  Babe and I attended a Costume Party over the weekend and we decide to go with a couple costume. This is the second time we’ve done this and it works out really cute each time.  Event planner extraordinaire Andre Wells hosted a Studio 54 themed Costume Party. Guest were asked to dress up as their favorite celebrities past or present. I immediately thought of my favorite TV couple from the renown Hillman College on A Different World. I also didn’t want us to spend a lot for our muffler.

Couples Halloween Costumes

A Different World: Dwayne Wayne & Whitley Gilbert-Wayne

The Look:

His: Babe purchased the Hillman t-shirt and flip glasses from Amazon. They cost about $25 in total.

Hers: I already owned my Hillman t-shirt as well as all the other clothes I wore. I did purchase some curly hair.

His and Her Referee

We wore these looks for our battle of the sexes game night. However they would be perfect for Halloween. Babe ordered these from Amazon and although we wore them with jeans. To be true to the look they should be worn with black pants and black sneakers. The football whistles come out of the “party favor bin” at Party City. You can pick a whistle to represent your sport of choice.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse

This was our very first couples costumes. We wore them for our nieces Halloween Birthday Party. You can get the full tutorial on our looks HERE.

We  believe in having funny and not taking ourselves so seriously. Over the years we’ve dressed up with the kids. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to create a look. You can if you want, but it isn’t required.
