Hey Cuties,
Last week LittleCuteLips and I had a bestie’s girl night out. I invited my bestie and her girls for a night of magic at Disney on Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party. The ManChild had football practice so he and Babe could not go. They missed out because we had a good time. We met up at the Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax, VA. The traffic was relatively kind to us. I’m thankful.
โI am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets.โ
Before the show started they hosted a CoCo theme family fun event. We kicked it off with pictures with Mickey Mouse. LittleCuteLips generally fears costumed characters even though she knows real people are inside. Not only did she stand next to Mickey without any concern, but she is also holding on to his arm. Look at God!
SN: I made this dope shirt, I will have the tutorial up next week. Halloween is coming and you need a look.
They had a nacho station which is one of our favorites. LittleCuteLips was all smiles as you can see, she is like her mother she has never met a #FatSnack she did not like. After eating her meal they had complimentary churros, popcorn, and cotton candy. That saves me some money, thanks, guys!
We were seated and the girls were eating their cotton candy when I noticed one of the characters in our area. She happily took a picture with the girls, her makeup was game was strong. This was the best of the pictures, the girls had crazy faces in all of them.
This was the opening of the show and they had us captivated. I was so impressed with the folks on the hover boards. That joint is hard to ride on carpet let alone on the ice. The ManChild would have loved this part as he has always wanted a hover board of his own. He was jealous when I showed him a video clip.
A little video recap!
The show was Mickey’s Search Party. They gave you clues and you had to guess which character the clue was about. The girls guessed them all right.
My favorite part of any Disney on Ice show is the set designs. They really know how to create a scene. This is Belle but look at the creativity of the utensils. So freaking cool.
My favorite part of the entire show was Coco, the movie came out in November 2017 and it quickly became one of my top five. If you have not seen Coco, then shame on you. Here is the backstory.
Despite his family’s generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Hรฉctor, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
The visuals were everything, I felt like I was in an actual scene of the movie. Everything was bold and vibrant and black light reactive. Peep the video recap to really see how incredible it was in person.
The grand finale!
The girls said they enjoyed the show, they got to see most of their favorite Disney characters. I hate that they N-E-V-E-R include Princess Tiana.
She enjoyed her second Disney On Ice experience. We look forward to coming back next year.

How fun and I loved the nachos ,and churros set up . You got to pregame with Coco. How cool!
Girl, we were so excited. We made sure our guts were full before the show, and she had snacks to go.
This looks like so much fun. I miss going to events like this! My oldest son probably won’t like it, but my youngest son will love it! Maybe if I bribe the oldest with cotton candy, he’ll be game.
He might, my 13 year old still enjoys it. He was salty that he could not go this time.
Little Cute lips is living her best life. This is super cute a great spin to celebrate Disney on Ice!
She really is, I love to see her do it too. She is such a free spirit and I admire that about her.
My first time going to actual Disney was earlier this year for my daughters cheer competition and It was amazing and overwhelming at the same time. Since we left Madison and I have been all things Micky and Minne. I am going to look and see if this is coming anywhere near us.
Disney does magic like nobody else can. They consistently provide the most incredible experiences. I love that about them.
The night looks like it was full of joy and laughter. I know your daughter will remember this experience for a long time.
She really does, this is only her second Disney on Ice show, but she wants to go every year.
This sounds like a good show. We enjoyed last yearโs and canโt wait for this one next month in NY
You gals will enjoy it.
