Hey Cuties,
We are six days into 2019, are you feeling the pressure? Does it feel like everyone already has it all figured out even though we are only six days in? I don’t have it figured out, but I have an idea of how I would like for it to play out. I have 359 more days to figure it out, and so do you.

I have my goals written out, and I am excited about them. However, I am the President of the Real G’s move in silence so I won’t tell you what they are. Keep riding with me like you have been and you will just see them manifest.
I am still fairly new to this word of the year thing, I started two years ago. But it worked so well last year that I had to do it again. Shoot last year’s word was intentional and I held on to it like a wig in a windstorm. What’s funny is that the Universe somehow got on board and took that intent to the next level. I told you real G’s move in silence, not everything goes on the gram. With that said, my word for 2019 is F O U N D A T I O N!
When I had half finished this post I went back and read last years and in that found I mentioned foundation although my word was intentional. I said it didn’t fit, and at that moment it didn’t, but what a difference a year makes. Timing is everything! It fits like a glove this year. As I move in 2019 I will constantly ask myself “How does this build my foundation?” that answer will determine my moves.

I turn 40 this year and I plan to do the absolute most EVERY SINGLE DAY! This year is monumental and I need to make sure that my foundation is solid as a rock. I need to know that my life is solid and built on a foundation that will sustain my family beyond my years. That means, mind, body, soul, business, and my money. *Que Ashford and Simpson Solid As A Rock*
Is there a word that resonates with what you want to accomplish in 2019? Chat with me in the comments below or FB, IG, and Twitter.
Love your word. it starts with the foundation and that sets the tone for everything. My word is Me…I need to focus on what I truly love and get back to the old me.
Yes! I love that for you Kita, based on what I know of you this is the perfect word for you. I can’t wait to virtually follow the process.
I think it is such a good practice to name a word to help keep you focused during a year. Foundation is a good one for 2019 for me as well.
Then you should adopt it as well. May we all be solid as a rock in 2019.
I didn’t choose a word of the year but foundation sounds like it will fit you to a T. I hope your year of 40 is a great one for you!
Thanks, I’m so excited for what is to come.
Now who doesn’t love Ashford and Simpson. You are so right, you need a good, solid foundation for anything to be successful. All the best!
Right, that is a jam!
I love the idea of foundation as a motto! This is something I practice everyday building and walking in my purpose. I also love the idea of doing the most haha!
Yes to walking in your purpose. Yes to doing the absolute most. hahahahaha
I definitely don’t have it all figured out. More like I have nothing figured out, but my goals are to go with the flow a bit more and not to sweat the little stuff.
That is a good goal, we all need to not sweat the small stuff.
I love the idea of building a foundation because it’s the basis for success. That’s one of my goals as well because with having a solid foundation, nothing else will flourish. Happy New Year!
Yes! Nothing is going to work without a solid foundation.
Foundation – I like! Here’s to a year of solid foundations.
Amen, thank you.
I love this! I think my word for this year will be consistency. I’ve never done the word of the year before but after reading your post I think I would like to start this year. I love learning about the things you do with your family and how you are setting the foundation for them on their journey in life.
Consistency is a great word for the year. That one can make or break your business and your personal life.
Foundation is a great word for 2019. I am striving to become more resilient this year. We will see what happens.
That is another strong word, I love it.
Yes, I am totally feeling the pressure! I’m so behind already, but I know I have some time to catch up. Foundation is a great word, looking forward to seeing how it manifests for you over the year. I think my word will be consistency, because that’s a major struggle for me that I want to vastly improve upon this year.
Consistency is essential, so that is a great word choice.
Love it! Such a necessary thing that so many of us ignore. We’re all about launching, growing and scaling, but you can’t unless you have that solid foundation. Which usually takes time to build, dig deep so you can build high!
Yes, and that is exactly what I have realized. So this year I am going to work on building a solid foundation. I want everything to be solid so it can have solid growth.
I think foundation is a great word for the year. Everything needs a strong foundation to be successful and manifestation stronger.
Exactly, that is the mood I am in.
Very inspirational post foundation resonates with me such a powerful word. I feel motivated after reading your post.
Yay!!!
I’ve never committed to a word for the year. Even if I did, I’m pretty sure I’d forget what it was by February. LOL! But I like that word “foundation”. It forces you to look at every aspect of your life and ask “on what is this or that built?” That’s pretty heavy when you think about it.
That is hilarious Ola.
Yes, that is exactly what I’m doing, it forces me to evaluate everything.
I haven’t chosen a word yet, but after seeing this inspiring post I’m motivated to. Foundation is a great word to run with this year….when the foundation is right everything else fits perfectly.
Yesssss!
My word for 2019 is consistency. I have to begin to take my hobbies seriously and dedicate time and effort consistently to see the results I have planned.
Yes! Being consistent will change any brand or business for the better.
Foundation has been heavy on my heart the entire year of 2018 because it pretty much crumbled. I have chosen JOY for this year, but foundation definitely needs to be my focus, too.
Thos are two incredibly powerful words. Put them to good use this year.
