Hey Cuties,
Last month I finally got out of the house for a little social. Outside of shopping at the store and or picking up food I’m in the house. The Fabwives posted about a socially distant event at a winery and I was all in. I didn’t know who would be in attendance but I knew I was going. Even better that it was close to my house.
Fab Wives
Fab Wives is a community of wives committed to love, marriage, and remaining fabulous. They firmly believe you can have it all! Fab Wives is a supportive community of wives who navigate each other through the journey of marriage and the #fabwifelife. “It’s not all glitz and glam but we make it look fabulous.”

Real Housewives of P.G. County
When I decided to attend this event I knew exactly what I was going to wear. I have a section of cute new clothes in my closet that mostly hang with tags because the outside is closed. I was prepared to serve Real Housewives of P.G. County vibes. I totally nailed it with my dress from Target and my Flip flops from Nordstrom.

Fab Wives Check-in
The Event
The Vineyard had rules in place so I had to RSVP online so they can control how many people attend. When you RSVP you have to pick a 2-hour time block, that was easy because the Fab Wives had a designated time. When you show up they check you in based on the RSVP list and timeslot. We had to wear masks to check-in and when you come to the desk to order wine. Otherwise, you are free to take your mask off when you get to “your” seat.

Robin Hill Farm and Vineyard
At the table, the ladies had wine bottles we could sample to help you decide which one you wanted to buy. It was a really cute setup.

Me and Rashida
When I arrived I saw my co-worker, I had no idea she was part of the Fab Wives. It was nice to see a familiar face and since we are working from home I haven’t seen her face in months. Naturally, I set up my blanket next to her and her homegirls.

Wine Slushie
I decided to go with the Peach Mango wine slushie and it did not disappoint. The only downfall was the fact I kept getting a brain freeze. Clearly I was guzzling it back too fast.

Winery Essentials
This was a picnic-style because social distancing. So I had to pack light, but smart. I had my “beach” blanket. My insulated bottle kept my ice frozen, I had my Black Girl sunscreen, hand sanitizer, my mask, and saltine crackers. I got this tray from my Diner En Blanc stash, so it was perfect to hold all my things. I had an entire vibe going. Missing from the picture are my grapes and pineapples.

Connecting with other wives…
They gave everyone these cards and it was a great ice breaker. I did this with my co-worker and her friend. It was fun and really honest, we had similar feelings.

The vineyard…
The weather was perfect. The vineyard was beautiful. The cover band had me singing along, and the company was perfect.
I needed this far more than I even realized, it gave me a chance to clear my head. I also felt a bit recharged too, but I hadn’t been this cute in quite some time.

This post and the vibes I’m getting from it, is giving me life! I love your cut with the polka dot dress!
Thanks, I love to put a look together. I don’t consider myself into fashion per se, but I love clothes and how they can make us feel.
Looking lovely as always! Sounds like a lovely event too! Would love to attend one of these when I’m a Mrs!
It was a lot of fun, this was the first event I attended for wives.
This was so amazing omg! Wish I could have joined. I need a wives sister circle.
It was a good time, they might have chapters in other areas.
Girl we are lowkey in alignment with each other. I went to a winery 2 weeks ago and I am having a friendship picnic Saturday! I love how you are festive and always down for a good time!
That is awesome. The winery has been a savior for me. I need to go again before it gets too cold.
Looks like it was lovely getting a breath of fresh air. I’m not doing any blogger events just yet, but I can’t wait to!
It was a very welcome breath of fresh air for sure.
