Hey Cuties,
Welcome to our first official #FATSNACKS FRIDAY! Every Friday I will be sharing my affinity for all things #FATSNACKS here on the blog. You already know I loves the food; if you’re new around here allow me to get you caught up. What are #FATSNACKS: food that provides an eruption of deliciousness in your mouth. Don’t get confused because the word “fat” is in the mix, this doesn’t have to be an unhealthy item. A lot of times they are but it isn’t a requirement. I know you’ve eaten something so good you just knew it would give you an extra 10 pounds. That my friend is a #FATSNACK. I believe in saying it with my chest, so…
If you love like I love SHOP
I love Tasty’s videos and they keep making me think that I can cook for real. Well, I saw the video for BBQ Chicken Pinwheel and I was sold. Simple ingredients and all things my family would love. #FATSNACKS
What you need: Refrigerated pie crust – BBQ Sauce – Rotisserie Chicken – Red Onion – Shredded cheese – Parsley
Get your measurements together.
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 425
Roll out your pizza crust.
Spread the BBQ sauce.
Sprinkle on your chicken.
Add your chopped red onions
Sprinkle on your shredded cheese
Lastly add your chopped parsley
Roll it up.
This is where things got tricky. You, want me, to roll all that stuff up. Really! My confidence was wavering at this point. You want me to cut it, huh, what? This thing is FULL and cutting the soft dough wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Hmmm maybe it would have been better on a cutting board. Maybe I should have let the dough firm up a bit, maybe I just need to try it again. Hello, this was my first time.
I told y’all this was NOT CUTE for me. Ummm what had, happen was… I would advise you to spray your pan to make sure they don’t stick. BAKE TIME: 15 minutes
All done!
They don’t look like pinwheels but they were really good. I will try these again.
Would you give this a try? Is there anything you would add or take away? Chat with me in the comment below or FB, IG or Twitter.
Clearly I’m gonna have to avoid your site on Fridays. Until then, I’m gonna go ahead and make this tomorrow 🙂
That just looks awesome! Anything with chicken, bbq sauce and pineapple especially? Count me in 🙂 🙂 :-). I want it!!!
Oh Kem you could totally add pineapple to change the taste up a bit.
