Hey Cuties,We survived Christmas, I hope it was time well spent doing whatever you did/didn't want to do. We opened gifts and all of that at home. This year we utilized technology and used FaceTime with my sister so she could see my kids open their gifts. On Babe's phone we used Google Hangout so my Mom could also watch. Full Disclosure they both live within five minutes of us. hahaha Later that evening we went to my in laws for dinner, my Mom and sister also joined us.
Hey Cuties,How was the weekend? Are you still shopping, just starting or flat out over the holidays? Have you put in your vacation leave for the rest of the year? I'm counting down my last few days in the office until the New Year. Last week I hit up New York to check out some eats, shopping and the beautiful holiday decor. I typically go in the warmer months but the holiday decor is really something to experience.
Hey Cuties,How was your weekend? Did you stay in and relax or go out and do something fun? I got up early Saturday morning and headed to WBFF Fox 45 studios in Baltimore. It was a lot of fun, I talked about easy DIY Treats for the holiday season. After that The Style Medic and I kept North and headed to New York; more on that later this week.
Hey Cuties,I'm in full on Holiday mode. I'm talking shopping; crafting and I plan to decorate this weekend. I came up with a fun craft to do with the kids to kick off our official holiday season. This is a fun one to do with the kids, you can give it as a gift or you can use it for table decor. I mean what is Christmas without some kisses? Plus #FatSnacks, you already know.
Hey Cuties,I'm back talking about one of my absolute loves #FatSnacks. Food, grub, la comida, aliments, sustenance, provisions, rations, three hots whatever you call it. Food is very near and dear to my heart as I frequently talk about it on the blog. In particular food with parents gives me the greatest job. This is part III, the final installment of the Miami series. You can catch up here Part I & Part II
Hey Cuties,I have a fun little snack to share with you. Nothing fancy, nothing sponsored just my love and adoration for #FatSnacks. This is a great treat for you and the girls or you and the family. It is really quick and easy and you can totally allow people to think you were slaving in the kitchen for hours. I strolled past the ready-made Graham crust and I had to try them. I wasn't sure what I was going to make with them but I purchased them and let the idea come later.
Hey Cuties,How was your weekend? Mine was very low key which I totally needed. I didn't leave home on Saturday and that just doesn't happen for me. Sunday my son had his first soccer game so we had to go out and cheer him on. He did a great job and scored a goal; followed that up with a good Sunday dinner and the Emmy Red Carpet. I am looking forward to a low key week thanks to the Pope coming into town and disrupting all of Washington, DC for three days.
Hey Cuties, How was your weekend? I had an amazing weekend; I mean I didn't get paid as scheduled but yeah amazing. I've been uber excited about Diner en Blanc since I saw the pictures last year. How could such fab-ness take place in my city and I not know about it. Well that wasn't going to happen twice. I'm all about getting dressed in all white and dragging a table and chairs around to a secret location. Umm yes, sign me up.
What up Cuties? What's good with you? I've been enjoying vacation with the family. By enjoying I mean listening to the kids fight more than usual. Listening to them tell me they are hungry 100 times a day instead of their normal 50. Oh and my favorite where are we going today question; you know the usual. I kicked off our "family" vacation with a trip to New York without the family. Makes sense right? A couple weeks back I mentioned I was going to travel alone for the first time. Well that sort of kind of still happened.
Hey Cuties,I am talking about food again, this time it's more healthy but still really good. Last week I attended a media event at Corner Bakery. Look any type of business can do a media event and when its food involved you best believe my face is in the place. It has been crazy hot in the DMV area but Mother Nature was kind to us as we settled onto the patio of the Corner Bakery in Arlington, Virginia.
