Hey Cuties,We are back at the half way point of the week. Did you knock some things of your to do list? Do you have any plans for the three day weekend? Are you volunteering for the day on not a day off for MLK Day? Are you clubbing? Staying inside to fight with the kids since school is closed? What is on the agenda? Yesterday was Nori day, my girl finally turned 4; she has been waiting for a long time. Especially when you don't have a true concept of dates and time. It was a Minnie Annie type of day that went a little something like this...
Hey Cuties,How was your weekend? Did you go from a 60 degree Sunday to a 37 degree Monday? Well we did, and it's downright rude and disrespectful. I went to Philly and I can't wait to share my recap with you. It won't go up until next Monday because this week is Nori week on the blog. She is "My Girl" his "Fats" she is our second and final child and our only girl. She is funny, she is shy, she is bold, she is a lot of things but she will very lovingly give you the side eye of death. She is no stranger to the blog at all. If you follow me on social media then you see the pictures of me tackling her hair each week or her prancing around life in a tutu. She turns four years old tomorrow and she has been counting down since October.
Happy Hump Day! My schedule says we are back at work, but my body hasn't gotten the memo yet. I shared my year in review with you and the reception made me feel like a rock star. Now I want to share my 2016 with you. Buckle up, you know for safety, don't touch the radio but by all means do enjoy these jams. It's a new year but I'm the same Cutie, just turning up on these dreams. I'm sharing them with you because you're my cuties; and you will keep me accountable.
Hey Cuties,We are down to the last day of 2015, Happy New Year! I appreciate you for rocking with me. I hope I've shared something that connected with you one way or another. I read all your comments and I try to reply to each of them. I don't take your time for granted, you could be anywhere in the world but I appreciate that you come here to chat with me. This year has been major in a rather low key kind of way. Sometimes it takes some reflecting to realize just how far you've come. That applies across the board in life, when we are in the thick of things it's hard to realize the how far we've come. 2015 was a year of preparation for me and let me tell you MIMICUTELIPS IS READY HONEY!
Hey Cuties,We survived Christmas, I hope it was time well spent doing whatever you did/didn't want to do. We opened gifts and all of that at home. This year we utilized technology and used FaceTime with my sister so she could see my kids open their gifts. On Babe's phone we used Google Hangout so my Mom could also watch. Full Disclosure they both live within five minutes of us. hahaha Later that evening we went to my in laws for dinner, my Mom and sister also joined us.
Hey Cuties,Christmas is next week and the excitement is increasing. The kids are still asking for things, they want to decorate everything, and the little one keeps asking if Christmas is tomorrow. Meanwhile I'm trying to buy Babe gifts and hide them around the house. I'm excited and tired at the same time, gift giving is so important to me. I always want my gift to be the best gift you've ever had, no matter the occasion. Is Santa real, he is in my book.
Hey Cuties,How was your weekend? Did you stay in and relax or go out and do something fun? I got up early Saturday morning and headed to WBFF Fox 45 studios in Baltimore. It was a lot of fun, I talked about easy DIY Treats for the holiday season. After that The Style Medic and I kept North and headed to New York; more on that later this week.
Hey Cuties,I'm in full on Holiday mode. I'm talking shopping; crafting and I plan to decorate this weekend. I came up with a fun craft to do with the kids to kick off our official holiday season. This is a fun one to do with the kids, you can give it as a gift or you can use it for table decor. I mean what is Christmas without some kisses? Plus #FatSnacks, you already know.
Hey Cuties,Today is hump day and that means we can see the weekend right over our shoulders. My son turned 11 yesterday and we did a little small celebration for him. He is a far cry from the baby boy I brought home from the hospital. He is in the midst of a major growth spurt and my pockets can't seem to keep up. He is almost as tall as me, his foot size has surpassed mine and his sixth grade homework is more that I can handle. WHY IS HOMEWORK SO COMPLICATED!
Happy Halloween Cuties,I hope you and the little Cuties have decided on a costume and you all are just waiting for it to get dark. I'm sharing my Monster DIY Halloween costume with you as promised. If you saw my last post on the DIY Clown Costume then you saw this one featured in the news segment. This one is probably the easiest of them all. There is no template and no wrong way to create your Monster. As always my costumes have a sew and no sew options.
