Happy #FatSnacks Friday Cuties!
I am half way to New York for a little fun and #FatSnacks in the Big Apple. {Follow me on Snap Chat @mimicutelips & IG to keep up with me this weekend.} You know I love that city like a fat kid loves cake. Plus, I did a seven-year stint there as a child. Peep my past NYC Eats post here and here. In the name of a great weekend I’m sharing some wine ice cubes I made for my Mother’s Day Tea Party.
If you’re new here, then this graphic will explain what #FatSnacks is all about.
Mother’s Day wasn’t just about the tea this year, it also included a cocktail. Everyone loves a good cocktail because it was a tea party I wanted something really classy and festive like. So I went with Sangria; it is my adult beverage of choice. Note: If you don’t drink alcohol you can make these with lemonade or another type of juice for a good mocktail.
When I think of Sangria I think fruit; so I cut up the fruit of my choice into bite-size pieces. You know how I roll, make it your own. Cut up the fruits of our choice, toss in some mint for a mojito taste.
I place a little bit of fruit inside each lip cavity of my silicone baking pan. I love these because they are totally flexible, I’ve so baked brownies in here. I also wanted to use something I already had and you know I keep my branding on point at all times. No seriously.
Make sure you don’t overfill them like I did in a few of these. It makes it hard to get in the freezer. Since this is silicone I put them on a flat surface prior to putting them in the freezer.
When you take them out of they should look something like this. Cute right.

Put them in a glass
See, still cute.
Then add your Sangria or juice; I added a few more blueberries for the sake of appearance.
This is a nice touch of detail to add to a soiree. You can make the cubes in all kinds of shapes, a number #40 could be cute for a milestone birthday or an initial for maybe an Engagement Party. The options are limitless but your quest will surely take note.
I love how you always have your branding on point! I need to restock on the cute little ice cube trays, this is a perfect to throw in any drink during the warmer months.
Thanks Kara, it is such a no brainer for me.
These are super cute! I love a good sangria in the summer and this would add an extra feminine touch.
Yes Tia, that is the feel I’m going for.
This is a BRILLIANT idea. Why have I never thought to make these. I need to – STAT!
Get on it Robin.
This is the cutest thing ever!! I’m going to need this soon to celebrate the start of summer and school being out!! 🙂
Thanks Nikka, glad you liked it.
I love making fruit-filled ice cubes! I often add a little mint if I’m making the cubes for lemonade or flavored water. Your lip shaped cubes are so cute!
Perfect Alli, I need to make some with mint.
How unique. I would never had thought about using the shaped ice cube trays in this way. What a cool idea!
Thanks Christopher, make your next beverage a bit more fun.
This is absolutely adorable!!! I always pay attention to to details at parties and gatherings. This is a win in my book. Classy and cute!
Thanks, that is one of the things I like. You can do they all kinds of ways but it is still subtle.

Very cute and healthy. Right up my alley.
You can make them as healthy or sinful as you want.
I love the idea of sangria ice cubes. The lemonade ones would be perfect when we have kids over for family parties.
Yes Pam, I love that you can make them kid friendly or not.

This is indeed an awesome idea especially for summer time fun. I love the silicone baking pan idea. It is so much easier to get the ice cubes out of these too. Thanks for sharing the wine ice cubes.
Thanks Rebecca, yes the silicone makes it really easy to pop the cubes out.
