Ginny & Georgia Netflix
Topic: Georgia & Ginny is a coming of age story. Georgia age 30 and daughter Ginny age 15 moved to a new town. Things don’t go as planned because Georgia has a mysterious past that threatens to uproot everything they worked so hard to keep together. Starring: Brienne Howey and Antonia (Toni)
The season is 10 episodes of twist and turns. Just when you think you’ve got things figured out they have a plot twist. Although it is quite hilarious there are a lot of serious topics one could discuss with their teens. There are life lessons all over the place. Toni pulled from her real-life experiences as a biracial person for her role. There are certain dialogues surrounding race issues and microaggressions were based on interactions she has had in her real life. Ginny Georgia on NETFLIX is a must-see.
