Hey Cuties,
Did you watch Season 2 of The Real yesterday? Bobby Brown was on speaking about the loss of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. September is here and October isn’t far behind. I’m talking fall attire, changing leaves and the return of a lot of our favorite shows. Hello Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Empire, Wendy Williams, football & The Real. My DVR is always over worked but especially during this time of the year.
Here is what you need to know be we get started 1. They said I was beautiful. 2. They were loving my red lip. Okay, now we can officially get started. The fabulous ladies of The Real are gearing up for Season 2. Tamera had her baby girl and is now a mommy of two. She welcomed to the world Ariah {Like Mariah with no M} Talea Housley. If you watched today they introduced us to Baby Ariah for the first time. Tamar is a member of the latest Dancing with the Stars cast. That aired yesterday evening and she received a really high score.
Q: When you look back on Season 1 I what have you learned about yourself that you really didn’t know notice prior to being on the show?
A: {Adrienne Bailon} I realize I shouldn’t watch the show after, I criticize myself. Why do you talk like that with your mouth? Why do you have to move your hands when you talk? Why did you need to make that face? Why don’t you have a neck? {Tamera Mowry-Housley} I knew I was emotional but I didn’t know I was that emotional. I never knew I could be as assertive, out of my sister and I, I was the more passive twin. I played that role; the girls here really brought it out of me.

I also joined by another Blogger Boo Jonna of Naturally Glam. I loved her questions as well.
Q: We all remember you and you sister wearing your curly hair as teenagers on your show Sister Sister. I see you are wearing your curly hair today, so are you going to be wearing your curly hair more often?
A: {Tamera} Absolutely, this was my first trial, I wanted to see how I felt and how it looks and I feel great. It’s a lot easier when you wear your natural hair. It’s on trend right now and I have it so its a natural thing.
Like Tamera if you are adjusting to sporting your natural hair this is a great event for you. They have hands on classes, workshops, panel sessions and shopping. I hope to see you there. Click HERE for more details and to purchase tickets.
What shows are you looking forward to this fall? Do you proudly rock your natural curls? Chat with me in the comment section below or FB, IG or Twitter.

I love these ladies and such an awesome opportunity! I especially love Tamera… have since I was a kid!
Thanks Tyra, Tamera is so sweet. We grew up with her, its so great to see her now finding her own way.
I’ve never watched this show but it seems like I would enjoy it since I love the Real Housewives franchise. And they are right, you are just too cute.
Thanks Amanda, I still watch some of the Housewives franchise.
So great that you were able to ask them questions. I miss Loni Love on Chelsea Lately. Will get my fix now that The Real is back on.
Oh yeah, she was on there. Now you can get a five day fix every week.
I like what Tamera said about the ladies bringing out her assertive side. It’s funny how different people bring out different aspects of our personality.
I’ll be checking out Modern Family and Empire.
I totally agree, that is why its so important to keep good company.
em a lover of reality shows , but i didnt know aboutthis one… i will have a look on this one
Nazma this is a daytime talk show but I am a lover of Reality shows. This one is way more positive than reality TV.
It’s so cool that you were on this show! My daughter used to have long natural curls, she cuts her hair shorter now but they’re still there.
Liz, that sounds really cute.
Seems like a fun show to watch! How exciting that you were actually on there! That’s wonderful

Congratulations! What an awesome opportunity. It’s nice to see bloggers making moves.
Thanks LaShon, I really appreciate that.
I DVR the Real everyday and watch it when I come home from work. It’s like a hipper version of the View. How awesome! I’m looking forward to the return of Scandal, How to Get away with Murder, & The Blacklist. I wish I had the time to maintain my natural hair. I don’t relax my hair, but I keep a wig on or extensions.
Girl, that is a great way to describe it. That is why I love it. I am counting down the day to the start of the fall season.
I haven’t ever seen the show, but it looks like such a fun experience. I will have to read a little more about it and see if it’s something that we would enjoy watching – very interesting stuff on this one.
Jaime, check it out. Its a diverse group of women in different places in life. Its like girl talk for an hour.
I can not wait until the Voice & Scandal & How to get away with Murder come back! NEXT WEEK!! WHOOP. I do rock my hair curly. Every so often I will straighten it but thats like every few months.
Yes Bree, I can not wait. I swear I can’t. I only wear my curly hair while its short. Once it gets length I’m always doing a twist out or something.
Yes, that lipstick looks great on you. I love Tia and Tamera… I have always been fan. This was a wonderful chance for you and Naturally Glam to shine. Congrats
Thanks Aisha, I’m a slave to this lipstick I swear. Yes, Naturally Glam is my boo.
I have never heard of the show before, will be youtube-ing it later 😀 You look really good!
Thanks Maureen. You totally should.
I saw just a bit of this show once, but haven’t followed up.
Thanks for sharing some of the behind the scenes.
Thanks Colette, I always want to know what goings on behind the scenes. lol
That’s so awesome. They were right, your red lipstick looks great on you. I love fall shows. I’m not so much of a daytime tv watcher as I am in the evenings. I’m looking forward to Homeland to start on Showtime.
Thanks Tee. Most of my shows are evening. I only have two daytime talk shows I record. I need to check Homeland out.
What a fun opportunity! You are gorgeous!
Thanks Rachel, it was so much fun.
I’m blonde, I’m pale and pasty, I’m (moderately) thin. If I didn’t wear red lipstick I’d disappear! Red lipstick brightens up everyone’s day, and you rock the look!
Thanks Carol, red lipstick totally makes everything better.
Ooh, I love Tamera and will have to watch DWTS this season ( it’s already been taping lol). This talk show looks like a good/real one which is so important for us as women!
Angie I totally agree, the ladies are in my age group and that is part of the reason why I love the show.
I screamed when I saw you guys!!!! So proud…amazing you are!!!
hahahahahahaha, I love that. Thanks Valerie.
I don’t have cable, but this looks like such an entertaining show. Maybe the time to sign back up?
You can just get basic cable and watch. 😉
