Last week I went on The Husbands show to close out Women’s History Month. Their show streams live on WHUR.com, and their Facebook and YouTube channels. This is not my first rodeo with the husbands so my nerves were good. Legit, I was built for this. The Husbands are LIVE every Thursday.
I am always in my element the minute we go live, and I love our various topics. So far we have talked about Leveling Up in the New Year, and What Women Want. It is always great to have a male and female perspective on topics. We each bring a different take on things, and we are not shy about voicing our opinions or checking one another respectfully.
It all boils down to women what respect, yes R-E-S-P-E-C-T! That means at home and in the boardroom. See us, hear us, and offer us the same respect you give the man sitting next to you. Simple as that.
How do you feel about Women’s Equality? Chat with me in the comments below or FB, IG, and Twitter.
Lol they would be too much for me but you held your own. Love this conversation they need to know we coming!
They are a live bunch, so you have to be ready to go toe to toe. lol

This is so cool. I think they need to be ready for you. I’ll have to check the show out.
They really do, they know I’m going to bring it every time.
I agree. Respect isn’t just something a man needs and wants. Women need it too. Aretha said it best!
Yes! Something so simple is lost on men, I don’t understand.
I agree with Kita. They are a lively bunch but you all have great chemistry! I love your tell as it personality!
Hahahaha Thanks, I have been this way all my life.
I always love seeing your experience with The Husbands. It would be cool to see them go against a group of wives lol. You definitely hold your own and always do. You’re right, we all just want respect.
Thanks, they never hold back and that makes for the best conversation. RESPECT is such a simple thing, yet men find it so hard. I don’t get it.

This was such a cool opportunity. You are goals! You did great and held it down for women.
Awww, thanks so much. I love chatting with them.

I agree! People are way too sensitive, but I do judge men who don’t give up their seats for women on public transportation. It’s a home training thing.
I appreciate your honesty Lauren. lol

Respect indeed! I love hearing men open up about issues that usually only women talk about. Equality is everyone’s business.
Yes! I love that they aren’t afraid to take on any topic.

YES! Absolutely enjoyed this! One of my favorite topics to discuss.
Ha! You need to join us for discussion.
Queen Aretha gave women the anthem of the century, we just want respect! Also I love when people decode the movie US I would love to hear you all discussion on this.
She nailed it, I don’t know why people keep questioning it.
The variations that people come up with are interesting.
Nicole of NLLMag says
Mimi you nailed it! All women want is respect. Thanks for holding it down for us women.
Thanks, you are so welcome.
I’m all for women equality and empowerment and we really see how far we have to go when we look at the facts regarding women’s progress worldwide. I agree with your stance that we should hire the most efficient person for the job.
Yes, the crazy part is we still have so far to go.
