A Nineteen Year Old Killed It At Fashion Week

Hey Cuties,

Have you recovered from your romantic comedies, love stories and or horror films depending on what team you were on for Valentine’s Day? Mine was quiet and low-key; we exchanged treats with the kids, watched a couple of shows on the DVR and sipped some wine before bed.

There are tons of shows going on during Fashion Week.  The ones you hear about the most are the high profile brands that we all know and love. Getting an invite to those shows are killer, I’m not there yet. However, this is me telling the Universe that I want those invites. I want to be invited to more shows.

I attended the Jimmy Burner show; he is a nineteen-year-old out of Texas taking on the fashion world.  His real name is Erwin Portis Jr., but he woke up one day and decided his brand name would be Jimmy Burner.  He is a sneaker-fanatic-turned-entrepreneur.

He honored a deceased loved one with sunflowers. Someone came out and draped a black ribbon across the chair and places the flowers in the seat. It was sweet.

There were several color themes in the show. I really liked the blue two piece on the left. It was a bit futuristic in design but you could totally wear it out on the town.

Jimmy’s friend (on the left) is also a model.  I loved her entire look.

Jumper came back on the scene last year and although I love them, I still don’t own one.

Earlier in the day I purchased a pair of yellow crop pants. They are so freaking hot, it was nice to see yellow on the runway. This validates what I already knew.

The young lady on the right was stunning. Her outfit was easy breezy and you could dress it up or down.

Black and white is always classic; I love the look on the right. It was similar to the look I rocked at the show.

The look on the right reminded me of an insane asylum.

Black and red will always look good together.

Would you wear any of these looks?

This show was full of energy, it was nice to see this young man working his dream.

Originally I just wanted to take his picture. The photographer insisted that I get in it so I did.
